We’re looking for a driven, full-time Made to Measure specialist with exceptional customer service experience to join our stores in Ossett/Huddersfield. As MtM Specialist, you will have the opportunity to join a small dedicated team, work in an environment where your ideas and dedication can help the growing success of the store and our brand, steeped in history and heritage. You will need to excel in offering a high-end customer service to existing and new customers, while also being able to build a strong rapport to gain repeat business and a customer base. In store, you will be the brand ambassador and the link between the products and customers, so we're looking for a confident and sales-focused individual who can deliver a positive and friendly customer service approach, using strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Who you are as a person

The Made to Measure Specialist is the face of the Carl Stuart brand to the customer and is responsible for providing them a complete shopping experience. To represent the best of British Made to Measure through delivering a high level of customer service and clientele management in order to encourage repeat spend and brand loyalty. To act as an ambassador of the brand in line with business goals and achieve sales targets as outlined by your line manager, supporting the overall growth and profitability of the store.

Main responsibilities

  • Deliver the highest level of customer service and offer an exceptional one-to-one experience ensuring the customer comes first. Being able to build a strong relationship with your customer base to gain repeat business and increase sales

  • Show up-to-date knowledge of MtM services

  • Being able to achieve individual and store targets

  • Work productively within a team and also being able to work as an individual in control of the store and customers

  • Maintain visual merchandising and shop standards to a high end - including assisting with deliveries, stock room and shop floor organisation

Ideal candidate: 

  • Menswear made to measure experience

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a clientele book

  • A competitive drive to achieving sales targets

  • Knowledgeable about tailoring

  • Proven competence and technical experience in the MTM field

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Administration skill and understanding of retail procedures

  • Understanding of retail trends, shopping habits and competitor activities
